Franz Kafka was
born in 1883 in Prague, then a part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. As
a young man, he studied law and received his law degree in 1906. Professionally,
Kafka worked for an insurance company and began writing in his spare time.
Only a few of his stories were published during his lifetime. |
